I have er, a smattering of tattoos. I don’t really like to talk about them/show them off too much because they’re a personal part of me I don’t intend to share. Not because they have some kind of deep lofty meaning, I mean one of them is a crude drawing of an anus for chrissake, but because as an artist I’m always externalizing and sharing my “vision”. But really I’d like to keep some of said vision for myself, and my tattoos are part of that process. If that makes any sense. It doesn’t.
Okay TL;DR I have lots of tattoos, one of them is a bunny, and I think the next one will be a dick-and-balls or a cartoon poop, I can’t decide which.
Hey, I have been interested in getting a sleeve for a while but have been unsure what to get. I have been a fan of your art for a while and am thinking about putting a sleeve together made up from it. I just wanted to make sure that was alright with you. Thanks for your time.
I dunno. I think it would be better to find a tattoo artist in your area whose style you admire, and get them to do an interpretation of my work. Not all ‘good’ illustrations make good tattoos, they need to be stylistically adapted into the medium, so the whole cute-and-paste thing doesn’t always work. Anyway, there are a lot of amazing tattoo artists out there who have amazing styles and approaches to tattooing, and I think everyone involved (you, me your tattoo artist) deserves a little more than a project that would essentially involve tracing my arts.
NEED a tattoo by you someday.
